Get a free server
The free Minecraft server needs no credit card and no commitment. It has 3 GB of RAM, 1 vCore and 10 GB of NVMe storage. Slots are limited and handed out through a queue.
What you need first
Your Discord account must be linked and you must be a member of the FenixHost Discord server.
- In the store, open your Discord page (fenixhost.net/account/discord).
- Click Connect Discord and authorize the link.
- Click Join the Discord to join the FenixHost server.
FenixHost only reads your Discord name and checks that you are in the server. Nothing is posted for you. More in Discord and affiliate.
Join the queue
- Go to Servers, then New server, and open the Minecraft tab.
- On the Minecraft Free card click Join the queue.
- If asked to confirm, click Join the queue for a free server.
The page shows Your place and an Estimated wait.
Use Invite friends, move up the queue to share your link and move ahead in the line.
Claim your server
A ready server is reserved for you for 48 hours. Click Claim my server in that time or the reservation expires and you must queue again.
Turn on the free-server notifications under Notifications to hear when your place changes or your server is ready.
Keeping it: 7 days at a time
A free server lasts 7 days. Before it expires, open the server in Servers and click Renew. A minimum wait between renewals applies, so the button may not be available right away. Free servers also stop automatically after 15 minutes with no real players online.
If it expires
An expired free server is kept until it is deleted. Open its page and click Join the queue to reactivate. When your turn comes it is reactivated for another 7 days.
Leave the queue
Open the queue page and click Leave the queue.
Common problems
- I cannot join the queue: link your Discord account and join the FenixHost Discord server first.
- I missed my 48 hours: join the queue again.
- I want more resources: move to a paid plan. See Order a server and Services.
Next step
Once your server is claimed, open the game panel.
